Sage Sage Wood Mist is more than a candle. It is part of a special collaboration between three independent, female-owned businesses in Sussex, brought together by a shared passion for craftsmanship, community and a cause very close to our hearts.
Janey of Caboose Homeware, Kathryn of Ruby & Webb, and Beth of Bisq’d Ceramics have joined forces to create something truly meaningful, combining their individual skills to make a limited-edition candle that gives back.
Each ceramic vessel is lovingly wheel-thrown in Sussex by Beth of Bisq’d Ceramics, exclusively for Caboose Homeware and Ruby & Webb Home Fragrance. Every piece is unique in its shape, texture and finish. The vessels then make their way to Kathryn at Ruby & Webb, where they are carefully filled with beautifully scented soy wax and finished by hand, before finding their home at Caboose Homeware in Forest Row.
The result is a candle that celebrates the beauty of handmade craftsmanship, the strength of local independent businesses and what can happen when people come together for a cause that matters.
A Candle with a Purpose
Behind Sage Wood Mist is a deeply personal story. Both Janey and Kathryn have lost family members to brain tumours, and this collaboration is a way of honouring their memories while helping to fund vital research into this devastating disease.
We are proud to donate 100% of the profits from every Sage Wood Mist candle to Brain Tumour Research, helping to support the search for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
Brain tumours can affect anyone, at any age, and their impact reaches far beyond the person diagnosed. Yet research into this disease remains significantly underfunded.
